Admissions Tests for Medicine and Dentistry degrees
Many universities now use the UK Clinical Aptitude test (UKCAT) for would-be medics and dentists. Some continue to use the BioMedical Admission Test (BMAT) and a few use the Graduate Australian Medical Schools Admission Test (GAMSAT) for medicine but mainly for graduate entry application.
Use the UCAS website entrance tests page and links to check out which tests you'll need to take, and when, for your chosen courses. The UCAS site also signposts you to test-specific sites , such as the UKCAT site - which contains more information, including practice tests, sample questions and answers, details of fees and waivers etc.
