Personal Safety
There's no doubt that there are some situations you may be in where you are more vulnerable to crime than others. For example, there's lots of evidence out there that people who have been drinking are more at risk of being the victim of attacks, robberies, muggings and sexual assault.
It's important for you to be aware of these risks and to learn how to keep safe. We've put some links below to fact sheets/videos produced by the Suzy Lamplugh Trust - a charity set up to help people live safer lives. These factsheets or videos give you tips on how to look after yourself when you are:
- on a night out
- keeping safe on the streets
- traveling to and from school
- using the Internet
- going on a date
- out on the streets
There's lots more information on the Suzy Lamplugh website, there is even a Youth Section .
