Where to go for help?
There are lots of national helplines and websites that can help you if you are being bullied or are worried about someone who is being bullied. Checkout:
Andrea Adams Trust - a UK charity tackling workplace bullying. Read their fact sheet about workplace bullying. You can contact them for help on 01273 704 900
Beat Bullying An interactive site where you can pick a character and go clubbing - with specific anti-bullying messages and information on the site.
Beyond Bullying A site for teenagers with lots of information about bullying and some real-life stories.
Bullying Online has an email help and advice service - you can get help 24/7 and a reply within 24 hours.
Childline For help with anything including bullying. Helpline free 0800 1111 or textphone 0800 400 222. You can also write to them by sending a letter to Freepost 1111, London N1 OBR.
EACH - Educational Action Challenging Homophobia. Has free helpline for young people affected by homophobia on 0808 1000 143 or you can email them.
Next Steps is a Worcestershire website that has been specifically designed to deal with the issues surrounding bullying. It features a range of local information and advice on tackling bullying and an electronic reporting system for children and youg people up to the age of 19 to log incidents of bullying online.
NSPCC Help from the charity set up to stop cruelty to children which has a free helpline 0808 800 5000.
Samaritans If you feel very low about what has been happening to you the Samaritans offer help 24/7. There's a helpline 08457 909090 - or if you find it hard to talk why not email them?
