Welcome to our pages for Parents and Carers

Your son/daughter is likely to be facing a multitude of choices right now.

Should they:

Choose a vocational, applied, general or mixed course at 14+?

Stay in education, start an Apprenticeship or a job at 16+?

Carry on into higher education at 18+?

It's clear that it will be tough for them - we know that there are even more decisions to be made now than when we were teenagers - but there's lots of support out there and you can find out information on these pages to help.

At The Support Guidance and Skills (SGS) Service Worcestershire we offer advice and support to young people to help them make informed decisions about their career and learning choices. If you would like to talk to your son/daughters SGS Personal Adviser, they will be happy to see you, or you can ask for help at your local Support Guidance & Skills Centre
