There are only a few exceptions to the rule of not working under the age of 13

These are:

• children involved in television, theatre, modelling or similar work - BUT you will need a performance licence from your Local Authority.
• children aged 10-13 employed on an occasional basis by and under the direct supervision of a parent in light agricultural or horticultural work.
