Are you being treated badly by someone, or a group of people?
Bullying can happen in lots of different ways. For example it can be:
- physical such as kicking, punching, taking your stuff, being pushed around or
- emotional such as verbal taunts and threats, being deliberately ignored or left out, having rumours spread about you and by posting insulting messages on the Internet or by IM (cyber-bullying).
Bullying can happen anywhere - at school or college, at university, at work, at home or when you're out and about - for example travelling to school or work.
If you're being bullied it can be really hard to tell someone about it - this is what the bullies rely on. But you owe it to yourself not to let the bullying continue. Don't suffer in silence - talk to someone you trust.
