What are hidden interviews?

Hidden interviews are a way in which employers try to get a bit of extra information about you.

The method used is usually to send you off on a pre-interview tour with a junior employee. While you are being shown around, if you say less than positive things or don't impress any employees you are introduced to or talk to, this may be fed back to the interviewer and used in the selection process.

So . . . . if you are asked to look around remain friendly, polite and interested. This is equally true of the time you spend waiting in any reception area - you may be being watched!
