Assessment Tests

• Some employers may use assessment tests as part of their selection process.
  
• You may be asked to do aptitude, typing, or psychometric tests.
• Sometimes you may be asked to take part in a group exercise to show how well you work with a team.
  
• These tests may be part of the interview process, or be part of the pre-interview selection process, but the employer will let you know if you have to take part in tests.

 

You can improve your performance on assessment tests - there are websites that you can use - for example www.kent.ac.uk/careers/tests has a whole range of graduate assessment tests for you to try out and check out your score.  This site also gives suggestions on how to improve your performance on tests.
